MURANO, BURANO, TORCELLO
The most famous islands of the lagoon are reachable by boat, and in just a few minutes, from Cavallino-Treporti. Burano is know for its colourful houses and its production of lace; Murano instead for the quality of its artworks of glass. Torcello is where the history of Venice started and where one can appreciate its marvellous Basilica and its museum with archaeological and medieval objects.
